The Plaza Prizes will grant FREE ENTRY bursaries to writers on low incomes and under-represented writers from all around the world.
If you apply for and are granted a FREE ENTRY bursary, you will not have to pay to enter ONE competition of your choice that competition cycle.
12 FREE ENTRY bursaries are available to apply for. The deadline for Bursary Scheme 7 applications is 30th November 2023. Applications will be considered on a first-come first-served basis. Unless you are notified by email that your application has been unsuccessful, you may consider it successful. We rarely reject applications.
We want to support writers in their work. All applications will be considered in the strictest confidence. We do not require proof of income, your word is good enough, but do try to provide details of your situation. (If you are caught out lying this will be considered a serious breach of trust and you will be disqualified and barred from entering any of The Plaza Prizes in future).
